NPI-1 or 2?

NPI numbers... To Have Or Not To Have, That Is The Question... In this course, we discuss the need for NPI numbers. What is a NPI? The National Provider Identifier (NPI) is a Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Administrative Simplification Standard. The NPI is a unique identification number for covered health care providers. You can get this number on the CMS or NPI website. The CMS website will redirect you. Both websites will give you information on how to use them. You will need one to identify yourself and your business as a Supplier.

The question remains though-Do you need 1 or 2 numbers? Classes are always posted for the 4th Sunday of the month. Individual Classes/Distance Learning are always available and can be schedule at your convenience.
